The "Darcey Bussell" rose, bred by David Austin Roses
Darcey Bussell, retired Prima Ballerina with The Royal Ballet, coaches the "dysfunctional family" of Strictly contestants at The Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden. Skip through to 1.28, unless you want to watch the wonderful professionals showing how two of next week's dances should be done, in which case stop slightly earlier ! They are sensational.
Bussell returns from her home in Australia for the last three Strictly shows in December, as a guest judge.
Hello Elsie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos as always. I couldn't watch the video. It says, "Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only". Maybe next time.
Hugs
Dawn
Yes can't wait to see Darcey as a guest judge on strictly. I do miss Arlene and her sharp and all knowledgable tongue.

I saw Darcey on Saturday's 'Strictly'. She didn't seem very impressed with the celebrities efforts in their warm up! I'm looking forward to hearing what she has to say as a judge.

ReplyDeleteHello Elise! ThanQ for visited my blog!
ReplyDeleteAwwww! These pictures so inspiring!!
Dawn - thank you. Sorry about that - iPlayer is out of my control !
ReplyDeleteTwinkle Pink - I know what you mean !
Catherine - Indeed, Darcey's last ever performance, Song of the Earth, is forever etched in my memory. Every bit of it was perfection & I don't want to see anyone else dance it ever.
The girl with the flour in her hair - wouldn't that be nice ?
Kelsey - thank you
Fabulous Finds Gal - thanks
funkymonkey - well, Darcey has spent her career doing serious training and I think would make a great coach to pro's
meraldia - thank you
Make Do Style - It is by far the best rose I've ever bought. No other colour or texture matches it. The photo's don't really do it justice - there is sometimes a long wait for the rose but you might be lucky if you order at this time of year.
yiqin - it is a beauty
