The Royal Ballet on tour in Havana, Cuba

I have been regularly updating my earlier post with pictures and articles about the Havana performances, so please do check back from time to time to see what's new !


Monday 20th July

I have just added a link to a review of one performance by someone who was actually inside the theatre, as well as some more pictures and video's.

We now have a report of the Manon performance as well.

    Hi Elise.Thank you for your comment earlier - you will be glad to hear that I am feeling much more positive now!!I did get your message about the sketches - I am very flattered and have considering whether I am good enough to do it!Can I have a go and then see if I think they are ok - then send them through to you and you can decide? I don't have any from when I used to sketch when I was younger,but if there is time for me to do some new ones I will. And I really don't mind if they are not to your taste ( ie they're rubbish!!!)Sarah x

    Hi Elise

    I reread your first request which was to link the transition from ballet school to more senior dance.I will work on that, but I will put my first sketches on my blog later this evening.Please please don't feel you have to use them - its years since I sketched anything so I won't be offended if they are not right for you. I have to say though that I have really enjoyed getting my pencils and paper out again today - so thank you for spurring me on, even if you don't use them!! Sarah x
