The Royal Opera House Student Standby Scheme

Do you love the work of the Royal Opera House but struggle with the ticket prices ?

If you are a student, the Royal Opera House Student Standby scheme exists for you.  The scheme offers unsold tickets for The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera to students for just £10.

The scheme itself is not new, but what is new is a Facebook page to let you know about any news or exclusive offers. Ticket availability varies according to how many tickets are sold per performance.

I’d be interested to hear your experiences if you register and have a valid Student Identification Card or, to use facebook parlance, ‘like’ the new page. Do please get in touch if you have any thoughts or feedback on the scheme.

  2. That sounds like a very nice initiative. Both sides are going to gain from it.

If you've got this far and would like to leave a comment, well, YES YOU CAN.

I'd be delighted to hear from you & will respond when I can (I'm not glued to my computer so please be patient).

Please don't post spam, and constructive critique is the way to go if you want to post a comment which is anything less than nice ! Thanks.
