About

My photo
BALLET NEWS
I am an accredited journalist bringing you breaking BALLET NEWS, press releases, reviews, interviews with dancers & vocational students & everything in between. Elise is my online nom de plume. (It's not unusual for writers to have an online identity distinct from their work in print media). BALLET NEWS' raison d'être is to bring you ballet. It's not about me. BALLET NEWS is independent. What else ? Well, I've been a shoe-a-holic since I was found, aged 8 or so, in the bottom of my Aunt's wardrobe trying on all her shoes. I have big plans for BALLET NEWS & I want to thank everyone for their incredible support so far. My favourite poem is 'The road not taken' by Robert Frost. An excerpt : "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference." I'll end with my favourite quote : "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you too, can become great." Mark Twain (& Tracy Jones). Please feel free to contact me at BALLETNEWS@mail.com.
