  2. Ahh! Nureyev. I saw him many, many years ago. He was heavenly to watch.

  3. I saw Nureyev in London but not on stage. He was just leaving the Bank and one of the clerks, maybe the manager of the bank himself accompanied him outside explaining something to him. Nureyev looked vey pale and only some time after that I heard that he was ill and wasn't performing any more. What a loss to the ballet world it was!
